Another successful Yorkshire Three Peaks!

June 22nd 2019 saw 34 people guided and supported by Up Mountains, face the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. 29 people managed to complete all three peaks including our youngest challenger yet, Georgia aged 10 years old! Ans all within 12 hours! A great group of people, some who came together for the first time on the Friday evening, generated a great atmosphere and made new friends too. Basic accommodation at Gearstones Lodge proved to be the perfect setting and Lizzie’s chicken pie was yet again a great hit! Fantastic support from Andy( the ‘Mars bar cake man’) and his wife Jenny, Steve and Louise all who made sure the event worked well and all were looked after as best as possible. The conditions proved to be ideal, some sunshine, cool breeze throughout the day, laughter and a big challenge!

and…they’re off!

In addition to the group facing the challenge of the day there was some very successful fundraising towards providing kit for the Rehab guys that Up Mountains works with. The total today has topped £1,000! A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed.
